Network rack built by Safire: switches, patch panels and fiber uplinks

Safire Home Solutions · UniFi Professional Integrator

A home network built like a business network.

We design and install wired UniFi networks: the gateway, switches, Wi-Fi access points, cabling and cameras, managed in one app. Built by a founder with 32 years in enterprise networking, and supported after the install.

Serving the Oklahoma City metro, Edmond and Nichols Hills, with larger projects in Stillwater and Tulsa.

Why the network comes first

Everything in a modern home runs on it

TVs, cameras, smart locks, work calls, game consoles and whole-home systems like Savant all depend on the network. When it's an afterthought, everything on top of it feels unreliable.

Wired where it counts

Access points, TVs, cameras and offices on Ethernet, so Wi-Fi is left for the phones and laptops that actually need it.

Coverage you plan, not hope for

Access points placed room by room from the floor plan, inside and out, instead of a router in a closet and a few extenders.

No subscription required

UniFi doesn't need a monthly license to run your network. Ubiquiti sells optional add-ons, and we'll tell you whether one is worth it for your home.

What we install

One network for the whole property

Gateway and firewall

The front door of your network: routing, firewall, guest and device networks, and threat protection.

Switching and PoE

Managed switches that power access points and cameras over the same Ethernet cable.

Wi-Fi access points

Ceiling, wall and outdoor access points for full coverage, from the back patio to the detached garage.

Structured cabling

Cat6 runs to every room that needs one, terminated at a tidy network closet or rack.

Cameras and doorbells

UniFi Protect cameras and doorbells recording at home on your own equipment, viewable from the same app.

Support after the install

With your permission, we can check on and update your network remotely, so most fixes don't need a truck roll.

Our founder's own network

We run what we install

This rack in our founder's home runs on the same kind of equipment we install for clients: a UniFi gateway and camera recorder, UniFi PoE switching with fiber links between the switches, and a patch panel for every cable run, with short, neatly dressed patch cables.

It's the standard we hold your network closet to.

How it fits together

One system, planned end to end

  • Your internet service comes into the gateway.
  • A PoE switch in the network closet feeds every wired run.
  • Access points, cameras, TVs, the home office and Savant all connect back to it.
  • Everything shows up in one app, for you and, with your permission, for us.

For builders, architects & designers

Plan the network before the drywall

The network is the cheapest thing to get right at rough-in and the most expensive thing to fix after move-in. We plan it with you from the drawings.

  • Access point and camera placement from your floor plans
  • A low-voltage pre-wire spec and network closet location
  • A clear estimate before rough-in, so your client knows the number
  • Coordination with Savant and other whole-home systems on the same network
  • Support for your homeowner after handover

How a project runs

From walkthrough to handover

  1. 1

    Walkthrough

We walk the home or review the plans and find where coverage and wiring fall short.

  2. 2

    Design and estimate

An access point and cabling plan with a written estimate, line by line.

  3. 3

    Install

Cabling, closet, gateway, switches and access points, scheduled around your build or household.

  4. 4

    Tune and hand over

We test coverage room by room, set up guest and device networks, and show you the app.

Questions

Is UniFi overkill for a home?

Not for a home with a lot of devices, multiple floors, cameras or people working from home. It's the same kind of network small businesses run on, sized for your house. For smaller homes, Amazon eero mesh Wi-Fi is often the better fit, and we install both.

Do I need a monthly subscription?

No subscription is required to run a UniFi network. Ubiquiti offers optional paid add-ons, and we'll tell you if one makes sense for you.

Can you work with the wiring I already have?

Usually. We test the existing runs, reuse what's good, and add Ethernet only where it's needed.

Do you work with builders and designers?

Yes. We plan access points, cameras and the network closet from the drawings, spec the pre-wire, and coordinate with your superintendent through handover.

Do you do business networks?

Yes. Offices and small businesses are handled by our sister company, Safire Business Services.

What does it cost?

Every network is designed for the home, so we don't publish a package price. After the walkthrough you get a written estimate. If you're not sure where to start, our Wi-Fi assessment maps your current coverage room by room.
