Weak signal
The access point is too far away, or brick, stone, mirrors, floors or a storm shelter are in the way.
In-home Wi-Fi & network assessment
Most people blame the provider first. Sometimes they're right. We measure the inside of your house and the line coming into it, so you stop guessing and fix the right thing.
Assessment only: fixes and installation are quoted separately. The $150 is credited toward your project if follow-on work is over $500.
They all feel the same from the couch, and each one has a different fix. That's why buying another router or extender often just moves the problem to a different room.
The access point is too far away, or brick, stone, mirrors, floors or a storm shelter are in the way.
Your network shares the air with every neighbor's network, and each one takes a turn talking.
Networks on overlapping channels interfere, including your own access points stepping on each other.
The newest security settings look great on paper, but many thermostats, garage openers and other smart devices can't connect to them.
Sometimes the house is healthy and the problem is the internet line coming in. That's what the monitoring answers.
We load your floor plan into NetSpot, professional Wi-Fi survey software, and walk the house taking measurements. You get heatmaps showing signal strength, noise, interference and dead spots, including the patio, garage and other outdoor spaces where you expect coverage.
Every network we can hear, yours and your neighbors', with its channel and band. We also look for extra network names you may not know are there: an old extender, the provider's router still broadcasting, a printer's setup hotspot.
A lot of Wi-Fi trouble comes down to settings: crowded channels, the wrong channel width, a competing router, an access point in the wrong spot. Your written report lists what to change and whether you need any equipment at all. This is an assessment only; any fixes or installation are quoted separately.
For the next 30 days, two servers check your connection from the outside every two minutes: one in Dallas and one in Boston, on two different providers. They record latency, jitter and packet loss, and log every outage with a start and end time.
Included: 30 days of line monitoring
You get a live page you can open any time. Over a few weeks the data becomes a baseline for your connection. Because we check from two cities on two different networks, a drop seen from both is your line, and a drop seen from only one is the internet in between.
Works on most cable, fiber and DSL connections. Starlink and some fixed-wireless services share addresses and can't be checked from outside; we'll tell you during the visit.
You have dated, timestamped evidence to put in front of them.
You skip a provider switch that wouldn't have fixed anything, and fix what will.
For most larger homes we recommend wired access points over wireless mesh. Each access point gets its own Ethernet cable back to a switch that also powers it, so the only wireless part is the last few feet to your device. Mesh units talk to each other over the air, and every hop uses airtime your devices also need.
Mesh can still be the right call in a smaller home or where cable can't reach. The heatmaps decide, not a sales pitch.

No. We assess what you have today. Changing equipment before you know what's wrong is how most people end up spending money twice.
Not during the assessment. If you have us make changes afterward, we keep your network name and password the same whenever we can, so nothing in the house has to be set up again.
You'll have a month of baseline data on your line. To keep it running, monitoring is $1.99 a month, billed yearly ($23.88 a year). Your setup is already done, so there's no setup fee. More about line monitoring.
Most cable, fiber and DSL connections can. Starlink and some fixed-wireless services put many homes behind one shared address, so there is nothing to check from outside. We check yours during the visit, before the 30 days start.
The assessment is only offered within 35 miles of Quail Springs Mall in Oklahoma City. If you're farther out, internet line monitoring is still available: it's set up remotely on a 30-minute call, so you don't need to be in our area.
If you go ahead with follow-on work over $500, the $150 is applied to that project.
Tell us a little about your home and what's going wrong, and we'll get you on the calendar. Available only within 35 miles of Quail Springs Mall in Oklahoma City.
