Internet line monitoring
See what your internet is really doing
Two servers, one in Dallas and one in Boston, check your connection from the outside every two minutes. You get a private live page with every slowdown and outage on record, dated and timestamped, ready to put in front of your provider.
One-time $50 setup.
Set up remotely on a 30-minute call. Nothing is installed in your home, and no one needs to visit. Renews each year until you cancel.
What you get
Dated, timestamped evidence, not a hunch
Your page updates around the clock. Because we check from two cities on two different networks, a drop seen from both is your line, and a drop seen from only one is the internet in between.
- Latency: how fast your line answers
- Jitter: how steady that answer is
- Packet loss: whether anything gets lost on the way
- Outages: each one logged with a start and end time
- Two vantage points: Dallas and Boston, so one provider's bad day isn't blamed on your line
If it is your provider
You have a record of every outage and slowdown to show them, with dates and times.
If it isn't
You know the line is healthy, so the problem is inside the house, and you can skip a faster plan that wouldn't fix it.
What the $50 setup covers
Everything is done remotely. After you pay, you pick a time on our calendar for a 30-minute call, and we do the setup with you on that call.
- 1
We find your connection's public address
We confirm your home's public internet address and that it belongs to your connection alone, not shared with other homes. That's what the monitors check.
- 2
We keep your address findable
Most home internet addresses change from time to time. If yours does, we set up dynamic DNS, a free name such as No-IP or FreeDNS, so the monitors follow your connection when the address changes.
- 3
We open only what's needed
The monitors only need your router to answer a ping. On the call we walk you through turning that on and, where your router allows it, limiting it to our two monitoring servers. Nothing else on your network is opened.
- 4
We start Dallas and Boston, then send your page
We add your line to both servers, confirm the first readings are coming in from each, and send you the link to your private page. Your address is never shown on it.
Will it work on my internet?
Monitoring from outside needs a connection with its own public address. Most do. Some don't.
Usually works
- Cable internet
- Fiber with its own address
- DSL
Usually can't be checked from outside
- Starlink (most plans)
- 5G and other wireless home internet
- Any service that puts many homes behind one shared address
Not sure which you have? Ask us to check first.
Already had a Wi-Fi assessment?
Your Wi-Fi assessment includes 30 days of this monitoring, and your setup is already done. To keep it running, it's $1.99 a month, billed yearly, with no setup fee.
Want the inside of the house checked too? See the $150 in-home Wi-Fi assessment.

Questions
Do you come to my house or install anything?
No. Everything is done remotely. The monitoring runs on our servers in Dallas and Boston and checks your connection from outside. Setup is a router setting and, if your address changes, dynamic DNS, which we walk through with you on a 30-minute call.
What happens after I pay?
You go straight to our calendar to pick a time for your 30-minute remote setup call. Your page goes live once both monitors are reading your line.
Can you see what I do online?
No. A ping only asks your router to answer. It doesn't see your browsing or anything on your network.
Who can see my page?
Your page isn't listed anywhere and is hidden from search engines; you share it by link with whoever you choose, such as your internet provider. It shows your line's readings, never your address.
What if my internet address changes?
That's what the dynamic DNS in your setup is for. The monitors follow the name, not the number, so they keep checking the right connection.
How do I cancel?
Tell us before your renewal date and it won't renew.
Check my connection first
Tell us who your internet provider is and we'll let you know whether your connection can be monitored before you pay.
